Pour two barspoons of Averna Italian Amaro over ice in your mixing glass.
Next add ½ ounce of Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth, ½ ounce of St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and finish with 2 ounces of Avión Añejo.
Stir to balance the cocktail without bruising it.
Pour a bit of mezcal into your cocktail glass, swirl it around, and dump it out. Pour your cocktail into the glass, using a jeweled strainer.
Take a grapefruit peel and flame it to blend all of the flavors. Rim the glass with the peel, and serve.
